The Range Rover Sport HSE is an absolute beauty of a drive, I’m quite partial to SUVs, so the chance to spend time photographing this incredible piece of work got me really excited. The crew on this shoot consisted only of myself & my assistant so we had a lot to do, keeping it sparkling and photo ready. No detailing crew, no fancy anything, just two individuals & an ambitious shot list.
We collected the car with zero miles on it in Scottsdale, AZ and covered a thousand miles in two days giving us an incredibly varied set of backdrops to work with from the urban sophistication of Tempe, AZ to The Petrified Forest National Park, Flagstaff and back to Phoenix.
All the images were shot on the incredible FujiFilm GFX 100s medium format camera which creates 100 megapixel raw files. This system empowers me to work efficiently, even in high pressure situations where time is not on my side, whilst reliably maintaining great colour fidelity for manipulation in post production.
Yes, we worked quickly and efficiently and yes we were exhausted when the dust settled. I’m really pleased with what we managed to create over the two days.
